Path free for IRENA Secretariat and IRENA Innovation Center 18/1/2010
The 3rd preparatory meeting for the International
Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) has opened the pathway to
the buildup of the IRENA secratariat in Abu Dhabi as well
as for the IRENA-Innovationcenter in Bonn, Germany. IRENA

Industry askes to mainain subsidizing energy for 6 more months 14/1/2010
It has come to the knowledge of Al Masry Al Yom that
the Energy Pricing Committee pertaining to the industrial
sector has recommended a delay of six more months prior to
implementing the second phase of energy price increases

Aswan High Dam 50 years after construction start 9/1/2010
The Egyptian Electricity Ministry is seeking to complete a
plan to upgrade power generators at the High Dam by mid
